Job title: Researcher
Nevena Nekic finished elementary and high school in Belgrade. In 2013, she sighed up at the Faculty of Geography, University of Belgrade, in the program of Geospatial and Environmental Sciences. She completed her master's degree. She is a student teaching assistant of several subjects and is now in her PhD in Geosciences. Nevena volunteered for the "Earth Day" event at the Faculty of Geography (April 19, 2019). She works as a scientific researcher. She is a participant of scientific conferences and her papers have been published. She is a member of Center for development of non formal education – CD4E. Nevena is also a member of the editorial board of the student magazine "Ekogea". Her main interests are environmental protection, possibility of satellite images and sustainable development.
First of all I am very happy and proud to be in this winning team. Working in this team has been interesting and at the end was very successful. I am hoping that people around the world are going to understand the problem of climate change and the need for afforestation. Also, I'm excited to meet new people, share ideas, and see how other countries are dealing with this problem.
