Every EYA winning project is unique. Some are more socially-orientated; others stand out due to their idea or design and have high business potential. To highlight some criteria and judge them from their point of view, EYA partners called Special Awards into life.

Traditionally, the City of Graz Economic Department rewards the one EYA winning project reflecting the ambition of its economic strategy best. This year, the experts of the Graz Economic Department selected “Complex Disease Detector”.

In the framework of the Gala Ceremony, City Councilor Gerhard Rüsch handed over the prize – a Sunnybag® – to the happily surprised Max and Allen Mohammadi, founders of CDD.

The experts of the Federal Chancellery of Austria had to select the project with the biggest social impact.

They were impressed by the idea and social commitment of “Aprendices Visuales” and therefore selected this project.

On behalf of State Secretary Sonja Stessl, Christian Rupp awarded Miriam and Carla at the Gala Ceremony with the “Social Impact Award”.

The Chamber of Commerce, Unit IT & Consulting Styria (UBIT) highlighted one of the winning projects and rewarded the project with the highest economic relevance.

The experts of UBIT shared the opinion of the experts of the Graz Economic Department and selected Complex Disease Detector.”
