Sébastien Bourdu is a young sense maker. He is a freelance web developer and UX designer doing his best to work on meaningful projects and to have a positive social impact. Prior to that, he worked two years in the R&D center of Orange. He is also a co-founder and CTO of Leeftr, a trusted community marketplace for remote computer assistance.
Sébastien, together with his friends, won the World Summit Youth Award in 2011 for the ikoproject in the category “Education for all”.
Sébastien loves the convergence of like-minded people. He is an active member of MakeSense, an open project bringing people together to solve the challenges of social entrepreneurs. He is also a happy member of the Thousand Network – a global community of young sense makers. Sébastien has also hosted about a hundred people in his flat in Paris through CouchSurfing, because he likes meeting and connecting with travelers from all over the world.
He thinks that his generation could eradicate poverty and design a system that could make us live in a world of abundance.
