Mercedes M. Díaz Sánchez
Mercedes currently works as ICT consultant for Accenture across different countries in Europe. She is a founding member of Mi Cerezo, a family-owned business aiming to rethink the cherries market empowering the farmers and regularly collaborates with other startups as coach. She is part of the organization team for EU code week and collaborates on different initiatives to promote basic IT literacy, mostly among kids and with a focus on girls. She served as adviser to previous Commissioner Neelie Kroes on Digital Agenda issues as part of the Young Advisors board.
