Max de Boer is Liaison Officer at the Erasmus Student Network (ESN) AISBL, where he volunteers as a representative towards the European Youth Forum (YFJ) and acted as a coordinator for the European Youth Event (EYE). He was born and raised in Davos, Switzerland, with a strong parenting by his Dutch parents, which has unconsciously formed his personality with Dutch-European but also Swiss values. He graduated from the University of Applied Sciences HTW Chur with a Bachelor’s degree in Tourism Management with the focus on Event Management in 2015.
Today, he pursues his full time Masters of Science program in International Management at the FHNW School of Business with a particular focus on public-private partnerships and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) related topics in a global context. Besides studying, he is working part time in the International Relations Office of the FHNW School of Business until September 2016. Thereafter he will start his traineeship in research at SwissCore, the Swiss contact office for Education, Innovation and Research.
His mission, which drives and leads him daily, is that Pan European collaboration in education, innovation and research highly contributes to the socio-political and economic development of Europe and should be promoted and addressed even more in our society. This belief system serves him as an essential basis to successfully seek to attain changes in the socio-political sphere, where he aims to optimize the economic development perspectives for our youth in the future.
