Markus joined the SKIDATA family in 2016 following over 10 years of international business experience. He is responsible for developing and executing strategies for key product partner areas globally in both hardware and software. In addition, Markus is a talent scout actively identifying potential strategic partners, including upcoming start-ups related to SKIDATA’s target customer segments.
Markus holds an MBA from INSEAD where he graduated with high distinction, a master’s degree in Economics with a joint-study program from UDLAP in Mexico and bachelor’s in international relations from University of Innsbruck. Prior to joining SKIDATA, Markus lived and worked across the globe from Russia over Hong Kong to Chile, mostly as a management consultant, with The Boston Consulting Group (BCG).
Markus is a passionate traveler, mountain climber and enjoys cooking for his wife and 2 kids on the weekends.
