Ina is an electrical engineer currently at a final year of master studies at a department of Smart Power Distribution Systems. Her interest in engineering started at a very young age, which resulted in competing at various science fairs all through high school, winning a bronze medal at one of the biggest science fairs in the world, and earning a trip to NASA Space Center. Even though she primarily based her research around renewable energy sources, her current field of study led her to Blockchain and its possible application in Smart Grids – thus shifting her focus to thinking about the possibilities their symbiosis presents for the world of the future. She still takes a great interest in energy sources of the future, as she believes that the only way to ensure a place to live for generations to come is to create a sustainable world.
