Gregor Cerinsek is a lead project manager at the Institute for Innovation and Development of the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. Gregor coordinates transitional university-business innovation projects and leads interdisciplinary research groups conducting people-centred design experiments and ethnographic inquiries to bring people into development processes as active co-creators. He is an external expert of the European Commission assessing the quality, relevance and impact of EU projects in the field of higher education and is part of the high-level expert panel on development and improving curricula & learning strategies for higher and non-tertiary vocational education in the field of Key Enabling Technologies and Advanced Manufacturing. He is the author of several book chapters and scholarly articles in different journals including Journal of Intelligent Manufacturing, International Journal of Science Education, International Journal of Innovation and Learning. As a visiting lecturer, he transfers his knowledge and experiences to national and international students of the University of Ljubljana. Gregor is a U.S. Department of State Professional Fellow, alumni coordinator of the Catalyze – World Chicago Alumni network, member of the Slovenian Australian Academic Association and member of the Chinese 16+1 High-Level Academic Platform.
