Gernot Marecek is one of the three founders of „project:culture“, a consultancy focusing on sustainable process-efficiency and organisational excellence programs as well as the implementation of software solutions for international enterprises.
With a strong analytical background the graduate of economic studies has gathered a long track of successful optimization projects. The variety rages from the optimisation of production planning to the implementation of classical CIP-processes aided by methods of lean-management and Six Sigma and finally to the conception and roll-out of ERP-systems. Specialised on industrial enterprises, he has collected intercultural experiences all over Europe and beyond.
In the past, today’s managing director of „project:culture“ worked for international players like Logitech and many Austrian-based multinational companies like Mayr-Melnhof. Nevertheless he collected experiences with medium-sized enterprises, so that his sensitivity for different needs is well established.
“Most important in our daily work are our customers’ employees. They are the real experts in the business they do,” Gernot Marecek is convinced.
Furthermore, he points out that for him “consultancy is actually the art of enabling people to put their ideas into effect.”
