Franz Fuchs-Weikl studied economics and later focused on education management. For over 14 years he worked in different functions in vocational training. 2014 he joined the department for education, youth and culture of the Salzburg Chamber of Labour. The position includes identifying and formulating potentials for the improvement of public education systems on behalf of our members and their interests, and – if necessary – developing and implementing additional offers (also in the context of EU-programs). Topics range from school education, apprenticeship, vocational training, to validation of prior learning and guidance. It is the main goal that all social groups are granted the same access to and equal participation in high-quality education.
