Cristina Pop-Tiron started her PhD Research this year, in Theatre and Performing Arts this year, at the Faculty of Theatre and Television from Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca.
Before finishing her Bachelor’s studies in Photography, Video and Processing Computer Images at the University of Arts and Design, from Cluj-Napoca, Ro, she studied at École Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Cornouaille in Quimper, France. There is where she developed her Bachelor’s Degree and had a personal exhibition at the School of Fine Arts. In the end of the academic year she had another exhibition with the same works in Cluj-Napoca, for the final practical exam.
Cristina attended the Interactive Multimedia Master’s program from the Faculty of Theatre and Television where she started her collaboration with the artist Klaus Obermaier. Within the two years as a master’s student she elaborated the project that became her practical Dissertation Project, as well as her first work in the field of Interactive Multimedia that was showcased in 3 Festivals in Cluj-Napoca, The Lights Festival, Aici-Acolo Pop-Up Gallery @Cluj-Never Sleeps and Colours of Cluj Festival in May-August 2015.
In 2015 she was one of the students from the International Student Group Project at European Youth Award Festival and this year she is returning as coordinator of one of this groups and a member of the Local Project Jury as well.
