Arto Puikkonen is Lead Consultant of UX Services at Gofore Ltd. He is a user experience expert with extensive experience of user research and innovative service design.

Arto currently works with the Finnish public sector organizations and private sector companies as a service designer and UX expert. He has done user research all around the world, including Finland, Germany, England, India, Australia, Brazil and USA. He is highly motivated to understand the users and to use this understanding to create the best user experiences that one can give.

Arto studied Human-Computer Interaction at the Technical University of Tampere, Finland. After graduating he worked at Nokia Research Center as a Senior User Experience Researcher. He has published 13 publications on, for example, context-awareness, mobile video and indoor positioning. Arto’s work has also resulted in co-creating the most-visible Nokia research concept in 2010 and receiving the Nokia Innovation and Excellence Award in 2009.
