Keynotes, Mentoring and peer-to-peer knowledge-transfer

Friday was dedicated to learning and gaining know-how. Willy Kempel, Cristina Birsan, Ralph Simon and Jaspar Roos shared their expertise through keynotes in the morning. This session was followed by one of the most popular and outstanding sessions of the EYA Festival: the mentoring “campfire”. Numerous successful entrepreneurs and business leaders like Arto Puikkonen, Gofore, or Bernhard Weber, Start Up Coach at Sciencepark, worked with small groups of Festival participants to answer all questions and give business insights. At the end of this morning session, Mathias Haas, former winner of EYA and an EYA Ambassador, told the Festival participants how to connect and share with other social entrepreneurs via the new online platform Amaphiko.

In the afternoon the spectacular Student Exhibition took place. Students from all over Europe participating in the EYA student projects – which have become a core element of the EYA – provided the winners with valuable feedback on their projects. “We were really impressed by the professionalism and creativity of the student projects. We will for sure implement their ideas to leverage “talentify.me” on the next level in 2016”, declared Bernhard and Doris Hofer, winners in the category Smart Learning.
