9.30 – 10.45 | EYA Campfire: Being successful, sharing experience!
Learning about the Life of Entrepreneurs: Listen, ask, get inspired!
“Ask the right questions in order to get the answers you need” – Paul Hughes sums it up perfectly. “Don’t be afraid to share your ideas with others. Even if someone tries to copy your idea, they’ll be lacking in passion for the project – in fact you can’t be copied”. This is the optimistic message conveyed by Steffie Limère, Factory of Imagination. According to Pihla Rostedt, Rostedt & CO, feelings should be at the center of attention – a convincing product needs to move you emotionally. These are only a few examples for statements uttered by the successful entrepreneurs during the morning session.
11.10 – 11.50 | Ten Meters of Thinking: The Dynamics of Growth: how to grow yourself, your idea & your network
Paul Hughes is already well known at the festival and his enthusiasm is as convincing as in the past few years. Talking about growth he states that it is not only about speed as the quality of the product and the work done can’t be ignored. It’s all about balancing continuous work and creative freedom – remember that your project needs time and care to grow! That goes for your customers too – treat them well and they will remain loyal.
12.00 – 13.20 | Skills & Capacity Building (Workshops)
There was something for everybody! From targeting audiences on Facebook to the creation of a social network or design aspects – participants could choose a topic according to their interests and debate it in smaller groups. The debates again made us remember that it’s all about asking the right questions.
14.30 – 19.30 | Winners Presentations
The three minutes of truth. Working on a project for years obviously means that you have a lot to say about it. However, the jury only granted three minutes for the winning teams to present the core ideas of their projects. Who did best remains to be seen – the winners will be announced on Friday evening at Dom im Berg!
